Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Safe4U protects customer privacy while providing consent-based mobile device locking for finance companies and retailers.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Privacy-First Purpose

Safe4U is built for mobile finance protection. Its purpose is to help retailers and finance companies manage device locking functionality for phones sold on EMI or finance, based on customer agreement and lawful business requirements.

Safe4U is not designed to spy on customers, monitor private activity, read personal content, or provide access to private customer data.

  • Safe4U provides device locking functionality only.
  • Safe4U does not collect private files, messages, gallery content, or banking information.
  • Retailers and administrators cannot access customer personal content through Safe4U.

Information Collected During Enrollment

During enrollment, authorized retailer staff may enter customer details required for the finance protection process. A customer photo may be captured, a customer signature may be collected, and the customer must agree to applicable terms before activation.

This enrollment information is used for business verification, consent records, finance workflow accountability, and customer agreement documentation.

  • Customer identity and contact details required for enrollment.
  • Customer photo captured during activation.
  • Customer signature and agreement acceptance.
  • Device and finance workflow identifiers necessary to operate locking functionality.

Information Safe4U Does Not Access

Safe4U intentionally avoids access to sensitive personal content. The platform is not a personal data extraction tool and does not provide retailers or administrators with access to private customer apps or files.

Any permissions requested by a deployed mobile application should be limited to what is necessary for finance protection, lock screen operation, enrollment, and support.

  • No gallery, photo library, or private media access for retailers.
  • No message, chat, SMS content, or email reading.
  • No banking app, password, OTP, payment app, or wallet data access.
  • No private document, file, or personal app content access.
  • No hidden surveillance or spying functionality.

How Information Is Used

Enrollment and device information is used to operate Safe4U finance protection features, verify customer agreement, manage retailer or finance partner workflows, and support secure device lock or unlock status changes.

Safe4U does not sell customer personal information. Business partners must use Safe4U only for lawful finance protection and customer-agreed purposes.

  • Enable consent-based activation.
  • Support EMI finance protection workflows.
  • Display secure lock screen information when required.
  • Maintain auditability for authorized business actions.

Data Sharing

Safe4U may share necessary operational information with authorized retailers, finance partners, service providers, or legal authorities when required for the finance protection workflow or compliance with applicable law.

Personal customer content such as photos from gallery, messages, banking information, and private files is not available to share because Safe4U does not provide access to that content.

  • Only authorized business users should access enrollment and device status data.
  • Access should be role-based and limited to legitimate finance protection needs.
  • Legal requests are handled according to applicable law and business obligations.

Security and Retention

Safe4U uses administrative, technical, and operational safeguards intended to protect enrollment and device workflow information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.

Data retention should be limited to the duration necessary for finance agreement management, dispute resolution, compliance, and legitimate business records.

  • Access control for authorized users.
  • Data minimization where possible.
  • Secure handling of consent records.
  • Periodic review of operational access.
